Today we take a peek into Claus Morgenstern’s project, in which the photographer adventured on his first experiments with coloured LED lights.
Coloured LED lights may not always be the most obvious choice when it comes to photography, but when talking about more creative approaches to image making they’ve been gaining their ground.
For quite some time, the photography possibilities they enabled intrigued the photographer Claus Morgenstern and he often questioned whether he should include them in a project of his — some months ago, he finally did.
The past Winter, Claus decided to give LEDs a try and start a new series where the lights would be the main attention focus. After sourcing the right models from the model agency he usually works with, Morgenstern and his team achieved a series of electrifying visuals that go from portraits, to car editorials, to GIFs.
